Dectomax™ 10 mg/ml Solution for Injection for Cattle and Sheep

Dectomax Solution for Injection delivers broad spectrum parasite control in cattle. Containing doramectin, it treats and controls gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, eyeworms, warbles, sucking lice and mange mites. It can be used at or after turnout as part of a strategic worm control programme to protect cattle from parasitic gastro-enteritis and parasitic bronchitis throughout the grazing season. Dectomax also delivers control of worms and scab in sheep.

Administered as a low volume 1ml / 50kg single subcutaneous injection
Provides up to 5 weeks persistency against gastro-intestinal tract (GIT) worms and lungworms
Can be used strategically as part of a control programme to manage worm burdens in grazing youngstock whilst allowing exposure to worms to enable the development of natural immunity¹
Can be used up to 5 weeks pre-housing, to manage the lungworm risk and remove inhibited Ostertagia to control the risk of Type II ostertagiosis in late winter
Worming decisions in grazing cattle should include a risk assessment and be combined with appropriate husbandry and pasture management measures
